Zero Liability?

Vaccines are the only products in the U.S. that do not have liability. There is no incentive to make them safer because the U.S. Supreme court ruled in February 2011 that drug companies cannot be sued for injuries or death from vaccines because vaccines are unavoidably unsafeThe rationale is that the benefits far outweigh the risks, but do they?

Wait a minute…. We’ve been told that vaccines are safe, with no connection to autism and other injuries – or death. Right?  So you’re also saying that vaccines are UNSAFE? Is anyone else confused?!

In case you’re wondering what’s going on, I have the short version – for details, watch the video at the end of the post.

A Case of Blackmail

The pharmaceutical industry knew they were in big trouble because the whooping cough vaccine (in the DPT shot) was causing brain inflammation and death in children, and the live oral polio vaccine was crippling both children and adults (i.e. causing polio). Lawsuits were commonly filed to hold drug companies responsible for the safety of their products.

Weren’t the pertussis and polio vaccines tested and proven safe for children and adults? Has anyone else noticed how many “safe and effective” prescription drugs were taken off the market after demonstrating they don’t work – or because too many people are injured (and filing lawsuits) – or die?

To continue this crazy story:

In 1982, after losing billions in lawsuits over the years, four big drug companies blackmailed Congress. They threatened to stop selling vaccines in America unless a law was passed giving them complete immunity from prosecution. This means that no matter how many people their vaccines injure or kill, they would not be held liable or have to pay a dime in damages.

Follow the Money

Since they couldn’t be sued, manufacturers began churning out as many vaccines as possible, with dubious studies for safety and efficacy. Currently, 271 new vaccines are being developed, including one for cholesterol.

What’s worse is that the FDA has exempted pharmaceutical manufacturers from testing seasonal influenza vaccines. They claim there’s not enough time to test these life-saving drugs. I don’t know about you, but I have met plenty of people who got the flu right after getting the shot. I have also met those who can no longer walk or function normally after being vaccinated for the flu.

Vaccines generate billions of dollars in revenue for drug companies as costs continue to soar. The (taxpayers) federal government purchases half of these, at a cost of over $2,000 per child each year.

Vaccine Court

If your child has a serious reaction to a mandated vaccine, causing autism, epilepsy, asthma, diabetes, mental retardation, or death, you cannot sue the manufacturer. You can, however, try your luck with the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (vaccine court), funded by the American public. The majority of cases are dismissed, though, and it will cost you a $400 filing fee.

Court statistics:

Since 1988, over 18,247 petitions have been filed with the VICP. Over that 29-year time period, 16,430 petitions have been adjudicated, with 5,482 of those determined to be compensable, while 10,948 were dismissed. Total compensation paid over the life of the program is approximately $3.7 billion. For details, go to https://www.hrsa.gov/vaccinecompensation/data.

Let me get this straight

We are told that vaccines are both safe and unavoidably unsafeSince companies that produce vaccines are not held accountable for creating dangerous products, we have set up a special court to award a few select individuals – who can afford the filing fee – damages for injuries and death from vaccines, even though it was just a coincidence that you or you child was vaccinated right before the injuries or death.

And there is absolutely no proof that vaccinations cause autism or other disabilities, even though damages (funded by the American public, not the drug manufacturer) are sometimes awarded to parents of children with autism and other disabilities. Is anyone else confused?????
